VISION
The vision of 1,2,3 JUMP Incorporated is to serve as an outlet within the community where individuals can connect to us as a resource to be empowered, educated, and motivated to grow.
By providing quality programs, offering activities and using jump rope as our tool, children will excite their parents, parents will encourage their families, and families will motivate their communities.
Change will occur as our mission impacts locally and geographically we will expand our nonprofit ministry to evangelize, disciple, worship, fellowship, and serve globally.
MISSION
1,2,3 JUMP, Incorporated is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit corporation whose mission is to evangelize and empower youth through promoting health and fitness, fostering education, connecting families, and motivating communities! We support this mission by providing customized jump rope programs, camps, and classes for children in grades 4 - 8.
HISTORY
1,2,3 Jump was first originated to teach jump rope skills in an effort to improve the cardiovascular endurance and overall fitness levels for adults. This one-hour clinic was held in conjunction with “Learn How to Box” and “The Next Level of Fitness” instructed by Wilmenia Gripper, Mike Dixon, and Phillip Henderson at Peak Fitness in Concord, NC in 2004. 1,2,3 Jump was then offered as a thirty-minute aerobics class during the summer months at Peak Fitness. It would not be until a two years later that 1,2,3 Jump reemerged. This time with children in mind and a concept redesigned to get more children jumpin!
OVERVIEW
1,2,3 Jump, now restructured as a six-twelve week program, focuses on developing youth in the areas of character, leadership, self-esteem, and physical fitness. It is specifically designed to teach jump rope skills in a peer-to peer guided setting. Beginner, intermediate, and advanced participants have the opportunity to work on precision jumping, learn new skills, choreograph routines, have fun and exercise in a noncompetitive, fun-loving, Christian environment.
6-12 WEEK PROGRAMS
1,2,3 JUMP Programs focus on developing youth in the areas of physical fitness, character, leadership, and self-esteem. Our programs encompass the four components of our mission by offering 1 hour of full practice time twice a week and 1,2,3 Jump E.D., a 1/2 hour of study hall and/or academic related activities before every practice. We offer family related activities, events, community service, and outreach opportunities. Our programs are designed for children of all ages. CAMPS
This 2-4 hour Camp is designed to get children of all ages excited about jumping rope! From teaching about basic jumping techniques to engaging in active participation, our camps are filled with nonstop activities that provide a Heart Racing Workout! CLASSES
Discover an enlightening and exciting way to learn and grow physically, mentally, and socially! Every class places emphasis on encouraging children of all ages to get Jumpin!
